All refurbished robot vacuums sold by Robot Specialist include a 12 Month Limited Warranty, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL). This covers manufacturer-related faults when the product is used under normal domestic conditions and properly maintained.
Each refurbished unit is professionally tested, cleaned, and restored to full working condition. While minor cosmetic marks may be present, all units are fully functional upon dispatch.
What Is Covered
-
Manufacturer-related faults or failures not caused by misuse or external damage
-
Components that fail under normal domestic use (e.g., motors, sensors, battery)
What Voids the Warranty
-
Using the vacuum on wet surfaces or with damp debris
-
Using unapproved cleaning solutions in the water tank (only manufacturer-approved or Robot Specialist cleaning solution permitted)
-
Failure to replace filters, brushes, or mop pads as prompted by the app or user manual
-
Failure to regularly clean sensors or internal components as recommended
-
Use of the unit outdoors or in extreme environments (heat, cold, moisture, dust)
-
Damage from drops, impact, forced components, or unauthorised tampering
-
Power surges or use of incompatible charging equipment
-
Repairs, disassembly, or modifications performed by the customer or any third-party technician
-
Use of third-party accessories not compatible with the unit
Change of Mind Returns (within 7 Days from delivery date only)
We may accept change-of-mind returns on refurbished units within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and returned in its full original packaging (including internal protective materials, inserts, and accessories). This ensures the unit can be inspected and restored for resale. Returns that do not meet these criteria may be declined or incur a repackaging/restocking fee.
Warranty Claim Process
Before sending your unit for warranty assessment, it is imperative that you first contact Robot Specialist Customer Support at customersupport@robotspecialist.com.au.
Please provide:
